Lex Garcia-Vieira (they/them)
Receptionist/Legal Office Assistant
Before transitioning to Legal Administration, Lex was a barista for six years. They took pride in every beverage they prepared; a bad coffee can quickly lead to a bad day. Lex completed the Legal Administration Professional Certificate program from Camosun College in December 2025, earning a place on the Dean’s Honour Roll and receiving the award for top academic student in Wills and Estates.
Outside of the office, Lex enjoys camping, swimming in lakes, and playing video games with the gang. Growing up in Manitoba, they have a strong appreciation for the weather on the island, and sufficient experience driving through the snow to be only slightly intimidated by anything the local roads may offer. Time on the road has also resulted in being in the top 7 % of Fleetwood Mac’s monthly listeners on Spotify.
